    This forum is predominantly for the drumming 1 class of 2012 at the City Lit.
    However, please feel free to invite friends & family who are interested in drumming and rhythm in general.

    Once you've registered, please start a new thread with your name as the subject title.
    It's important to use your name, as many users will not use their name as their alias (just as I haven't!)

    Things to mention in your introduction:
    - Why you chose drumming
    - What musical background you might have
    - Your hobbies, whether music-related or not
    - Any fun bits of trivia about you!

    Please take the time to update your profile, maybe a pic so people know who you are.

    I never know what to say about myself....

    Why I chose drumming? I spent most of my life in love with the wonderful drummer, Tony Marsh. Since he died I just feel like I need to do the playing now. When I used to ask Tony to teach me to play he always refused and gave me one of two answers: "You already can play" or "One drummer in the family is enough". Well, I guess now I have to be that drummer.....

    My other love is painting. Doing a class in life painting at City Lit, too.
